“COMPASS”

Controller

Provides Real Time System Information

“COMPASS”- What is it?
• A new control panel for the
entire system.
• Monitors virtually every aspect
of both the compressor and
CAT engine
• A user-friendly interface for the
field operator
• A diagnostic tool to aid in
troubleshooting field problems
• A safety device for the
operator and the equipment

How Does It Work?

• Engine monitoring & control achieved with SAE J1939

datastream protocol
• Directly monitors system pressures ,temperatures and
takes necessary action
• Logs events in non-volatile memory for retrieval by
technician
• Provides real-time feedback on system performance

Manifold Block System

• Takes The Place Of Separate Components Currently Used

• High/Low Valve And Run/Start Valve Replaced By Solenoid Valves
• Recirculation Valve, Blowdown Valve And System Regulators Are All
Incorporated Into The Block Driven By The Recirculation Valve Solenoid
• Engine Speed Control Cylinder Is Replaced By An Electrical
Signal From the “COMPASS” Controller
