Introduction
The architectural practice suffered a considerable change
during the 20th century from an ‘anti-competitive culture’ to
a challenging environment where firms have to fight to
promote and sell their services. Moreover, since the
economic downturn of 2008/2009, the competitive
environment has been intensified for professional service-
oriented industries, where architecture is included.

This challenging times brought the need for firms &


professionals to rethink the way they are promoting their
work.
Status of marketing in
architectural firms
In the current scenario, architectural
firms keep a very low profile when it
comes to marketing.

the internet to learn. Also, people still want to research products and services online before they
contact a company.
