Definition of Job Satisfaction and Dissatisfaction

 Job satisfaction is defined as the extent to which an employee feels self-


motivated, content & satisfied with his/her job. Job satisfaction happens when an
employee feels he or she is having job stability, career growth and a comfortable
work life balance.
 It is an employee’s response to their job that can range from feelings of apathy, to
depression and despair, to anger, frustration and resentment. Employee turnover
always costs a company money, including lost revenue and intrinsic costs.
In our opinion and research, if we want to choose
the job, what should be the criteria

satisfaction with our careers, the theory implies, is a mixture of the Hygiene Factors
and the motivators. Every organization works towards having satisfied employee
satisfaction and dissatisfaction.
