The SGI stirring is basically the same, namely one spoon

of powder and two drops of liquid. Divide the powder into
three parts. First stir 1/3 of the powder with caira for 15
seconds, then stir another 1/3 of it for 15 seconds, then the
rest is homogeneous and completely finished stirring for
one minute. The SGI will harden after two and a half
minutes (no light). The SGI will harden after 40 seconds.

Finishing includes shaping, contouring, and refining
restoration. Meanwhile, polishing is used to make the
surface of the restoration shiny. Finishing can be
carried out immediately after the light-activated
composite has undergone polymerization or about 3
minutes after initial hardening.
Composite resin finishing and polishing procedure:
1. A sharp-edge hand instrument is used to remove excesses in the
proximal area, and gingival margins and to form the proximal
surface of the composite resin.
2. 12b scalpel blade is used to remove flash from the composite resin at
the distal aspect

proximal surface of composite resin restorations.
