What is Yoga?
So, what is yoga? The word “yoga” in
Sanskrit literally means “to join”.
When you think about the way we
join the breath and movement
together to join the body and mind it
makes perfect sense. Yoga has been
in practice over 5,000 years and has
been used to combine the breath
and physical postures to promote
wellness both in the mind and the
body. Yoga is also another mindful
practice that joins our physical and
spiritual selves to create awareness.
