Mission:

"To enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health


care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and
leadership development of all health occupations students,
therefore, helping the students to meet the needs of the
health care community."
What is the HOSA club?
❖ HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S.
Department of Education and the Health Science Education
❖ HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development for those who
have interests in pursuing careers in health professions. HOSA is 100% health
care!
❖ Tailored to those who wish to apply their
knowledge in a competitive setting
❖ HOSA chapters have been established in
many schools across the county
Competitions
❖ Competitive events are designed to motivate HOSA members to improve
their knowledge and skills
❖ (This year, they will be virtual)
❖ Prepare for competitions as a team, study given material
❖ Competitions are county-wide, state-wide, and national
➢ Events on behavioral health,
medical laws + ethics, medical technology...
How much does it cost?
Each member must pay membership dues - $20

The money goes towards competitions and conferences.


When would we meet?
❖ We plan to meet the same days as the Pre-Med Club as we would be a sub
club of PreMed (1st and 3rd Mon)
❖ (If necessary, we would like to have additional meets on 2nd Monday)
How can it help you?
❖ Develop effective leadership qualities, skills, and positions.
❖ Build self-confidence, motivation and enthusiasm.
❖ Strengthen academic and technical skills.
❖ Create friendships and social networks with other HOSA members locally and
nationally.
