STARTING THE CASE
• Click “Update worklist”
• Check patient’s name and
IC Select Fill in your initials under “Sonographer”
• Click “Close” to start the
exam PORTABLES • Ask the On-Call Radiographers to register the patient and start the case • Turn on the machine and refresh the worklist first Make sure patient’s name is in the system • Bring ultrasound gel and the relevant transducers • Then unplug the machine (the main power point + the network cable) Unplug the network cable DELETING IMAGES 2. Click the number of the image you want to delete (highlight it orange)
1. Press “Pointer”
3. Click “Delete Selected”
ENDING THE CASE
• Once you have gone
through the images and deleted the unwanted, Press “End Exam” • Press “Review” • Click once to highlight the patient’s details (do not have to tick the checkbox) • Click “Send to…” • Select “RADPACSP” Click “Ok” ENDING THE CASE
• To know if its successfully
sending, one of the screens of the computer icon at the bottom (O) will turn green • Inform the On-Call Radiographers to verify the study • Report accordingly
• For Portables: Remember to
