Introducton
⦿ A medically assisted chair equipped with iron framework, joystick, motors and body sensors that allow
the physiotherapy of paralyzed patients while providing efficient and excellent performance

⦿ Robotic platform is structured which includes robotic system as well as haptic device to perform the
post stroke rehabilitation exercises for the lower limb.

⦿ The proposed robotic system would be capable of performing exercises via active control system.

⦿ It is controlled through Arduino UNO by joystick module and GUI.

⦿ Exercises of patients would be recorded and analyzed by physiotherapists through sensors.

⦿ It provides three degree of freedom(thigh, knee and ankle.)

Prototype Idea Extraction
⦿ Link length mechanism is taken from Research Paper, ILeg.

⦿ Structural Design is taken from Research Paper Pneumatic Exoskeleton Robot.

⦿ The data sensing technique for acceleratormeter and other sensors is taken from
Research Paper Wearable sensors.

Prototype Simulation

The project is incorporated with

easily operable GUI
(Graphical User Interface),
which enables the
action of stepper motors including
their speed and angle of exercise.
