RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY

Means any indoor and

outdoor activity under-
taken for the purpose of
exercise, relaxation, or
pleasure, including
practice or instruction in
any such activity.
L GAMES
are games commonly played by
children, usually using native
materials or instruments. In
the Philippines, due to limited
resources of toys
for Filipino children, they usually
invent games without the need of
anything but the players
themselves. Their games'
complexity arises from their
flexibility to think and act.
PIKO or
HOPSCOTCH
This traditional game of
"Piko" or "Hopscotch" is
among the popular street
games during my early
age in 80's. Usually

Procedures/Mechanics

 The players stand behind the edge of a box, and each

should throw their cue ball.
 The first to play is determined depending on the players’
agreement (e.g. nearest to the moon, wings or chest).
 Whoever succeeds in throwing the cue ball nearest to
the place that they have agreed upon will play first. The
next nearest is second, and so on.
 Throw the cue ball on a certain box according to order
and you must skip the box with your cue ball in it.
 Once you step at the lines or outside the pattern, you
will be disqualified.
 Once you reach the box before the box with your cue
ball in it, you must pick your cue ball up then skip the
box that was with it before.
 The first one to complete the game will be the winner.
DO’S and DON’TS
1.Avoid stepping the line
2.The “pamato” should
not be thrown outside
of the box.
3.The player should not
step in the box where
his/her “pamato”

generally including any activity
engaged in for diversion or
amusement and often
establishing a situation that
involves a contest or
rivalry. Card games are the
game’s most played by
adults. Children’s games include
a wide variety of amusements
and pastimes primarily for
children.
DAMA OR DRAUGHTS
is a group
of strategy board
games for two players
which
involve diagonal moves
of uniform game pieces
and mandatory captures
by jumping over
opponent pieces.
HOW TO PLAY THE GA
ME
This game is played by two
people, each player must have 12
"pitsas"(pieces in dama) made
from bamboo, stones, or bottle
caps. They move point to point
and like the game chess, once
your pitsas capture, the game will
end. Pitsas can move diagonally
only, they cannot eat or capture
backwards.
The students shall make
a unique creative game
with their own mechanics
based on the different
recreation and traditional
games.
The students should
submit a video of their
own creative games in
form of video.
