1. Demonstrate an understanding of the key ideas in language and communication; and

2. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the different communication types in


various communication settings;

3. Explain the various communication models and how they help in understanding the
communication process;

4. Point out the ethical issues involved in communication.
