Once upon a time there was a boy named Jack. He lived with his mother in a small town.
His mother was very active, but Jack was too lazy. His friends called him Lazy Jack. His
mother told him to work for his living. On the first day of his job, Jack worked hard and
earned a penny but he lost the penny on his way back home. “You should have put it in
your pocket" said his mother. "I'll do so next time," replied Jack. The second day, Jack
worked as a cow keeper. His boss gave him a jar of milk for his day's work. Jack put the
jar of milk into his large trousers’ pocket, spilling it all the way back home. "You should
have carried it on your head!" said his mother. "I'll do so next time," said Jack. The next
day, Jack got a cream cheese as his earnings. Jack went home with the cream cheese on his
head. By the time he got home the cheese had all melted.
