Summary Proposal Feedback

• Opening paragraph omits the project key issue

Peer
• Background content quite statistical
• Project purpose unclear
• Grammar and sentence structure need a proper
proofreading

Review
• Project does not state its benefits very clear
• Project methodology steps not clear
• Excess in quotation in methodology section
• Risk register components unclear
• Project timeline: Missing crucial deadlines
Summary Proposal Feedback

• Focus on Chikwawa water points that were not at risk of

Project flooding
• Looking at long term dataset
• Challenging salinity or water availability changes along the
years

Advisor • Meeting Mr. Jonathan Truslove / Dataset interpretation and

PhD research in Malawi
• Attending Mr. Donald Robertson lectures to learn how to
obtain data from mwater site.
Reflection to Key Feedback
• Opening Paragraph/Commencing with a general subject quotation put a reader into a broader context
• Statistical Content/Statistics are used to pass relevant information to the reader and the main reason to conduct a
research. Maybe too condense but all are relevant to the project itself
Peer Review/steps • Project Methodology steps/ It could have been relevant if I had understood the feedback explanations
taken • Grammar corrections / it is at the back of my mind for the dissertation report

• Mwater site/ Attending to Mr. Donald Robertson lectures plus an individual meeting to solve doubts
• Reviewing Mr Jonathan Truslove past papers to gain knowledge on Malawi main concerns
Project • Email Mr Jonathan Truslove to propose a meeting to discuss his PhD research and other relevant information
Advisor/steps • Struggling to obtain specific dataset for non risk flooding water points only
taken
