support individuals and families in empowering
themselves as they seek safety and healing from
all forms of violence.
• Acknowledgment – We acknowledge the impact
of vicarious trauma and the exposure to vicarious
resilience.
• Social Justice – We are advocates for oppressed
individuals, families and communities. Our
actions are aligned with the intersectionality of
feminist, anti-oppressive principles.
• Taking Action Towards Nonviolence – We belong
to a cross
-section of other community boards to join a
collective effort towards eradicating violence of
all forms.
