Taking The World To A
Disaster

No doubt that is the fast - paced world is helping us get more

money in our pockets but what about our soul. Is it also filling
our soul and mind with happiness? We wish the answer to the
question was positive. Unfortunately, the world is moving
towards stress and depression. Youth is taking medications
and antidepressants to fight this ‘mentally fatal disease’. All-in-
all, according to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH),
we are likely to get depression if we have a family history of
depression. Vancouver, India, the USA- all big countries have a

huge number of depressed natives.

Give Them
Ears
Sometimes all a depressed mind need
is someone who can hear them.
Ask them. Tell them it is ok to talk it out. Try
not to give any piece of advice. Just listen to
what is going in their mind. You can ask
some questions to get to know
the reason behind their sadness.

Engage them in some fun activities. Validate their

feelings and show empathy through your body
language. Don’t be pushy; behave
with love and compassion.
Take Them To A
Therapist
It is not like that the victim is unaware of the support he can get
from outside. But while in that situation, taking up the phone
and searching for online therapy for depression seems like
moving a mountain. So, offer them to be reviewed by
therapists. Also, encourage them and give them the strength
that they need to fight with this hard situation. Be a part of their
struggle.

Ask Them To Continue The Therapy

Depression zaps energy. It forces one to self-isolate and does
nothing. On that bad day, they need you. Push them and take
them to the counselor in Vancouver. Question them if they are
taking their medicines on time. Ask them if the prescribed dose
is suitable for their body. If they want to stop taking the
antidepressants, first take the advice of the healthcare provider.
It will help them avoid serious consequences.
Give Them A Helping Hand
Daily

Everyday tasks seem a headache and one may feel

overwhelmed. You can help them in shopping for their grocery,
laundry, or even paying their bills. Ask them bluntly if they need
help in any kind of work. Show your care and affection. Your
willingness to bring them back to the real world can become a
true motivation for them.
Grab Some Patience

Things are not going back to normal in days. With

some people, it can also take months.
According to their symptoms, they might need
prolonged help. Be with them throughout. Also,
take care of yourself because such types of
environments can bring sadness to your mind.
Meditate and go for
a walk. If possible, take them along so that you
both can enjoy each other ’s company.
