offshore oil
rig operator
INTRODUCTION:

I am going to talk about the work carried out by operators on offshore oil rigs. Have you ever wondered
what it feels like to work in the middle of the ocean? first you have to know what the job consists.
Firstly a rotary drilling operator on an oil rig is someone who carries out the physical aspects of the
drilling plans that petroleum engineers have implemented.
They also operate the equipment that digs the well and that removes our natural oil and gas resources.
just as they are experts in reaching the vast oil fields hidden under the land of the sea
Therefore, they are responsible for supplying the country with oil. They work in the depths of the sea in
large drilling rigs to extract the oil from the seabed.
ARGUMENT

Offshore oil rigs are the same as those used in onshore drilling projects, except
they are used offshore.
However, these workers differ due to the risks that exist at sea compared to
those on land, for example, they face risks ranging from basic structural and
environmental hazards to those associated with the chemicals they use and mix
with the sea.
CONCLUSION:

• I think that while, you are a person who still does not have a partner in
addition to not having a person who depends on you, a job like this would be
fine although following the safety methods to avoid the risks you face in a
job like this as well as having good physical condition to withstand the
efforts that include this job.
