PRESENTATION
OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, you must:
• Observe and use the appropriate oral language,
stance, and behavior during report;
• Use slideshow presentation using a topic outline;
• Use multimedia resources effectively in reports; and
• Deliver a report effectively.
OBSERVING PROPER STANCE AND
BEHAVIOR DURING REPORTS
• Stand properly.

• Establish eye contact with your audience.

• Use nonverbal communication.


GIVING FACTUAL INFORMATION
When you deliver a report in class, your
report should be anchored on facts.

• Use reliable sources.

• Present your information in an organized


manner.
NARRATING PERSONAL STORIES
Adding personal stories on your report has three
advantages:

• Your classmate will find your report relevant.

• Your report will have good diversity.

• You will be well connected to your report.


USING SLIDESHOW
PRESENTATION IN REPORTS
• Be concise with the contents of each slide.

• Be wise with transitions and animation effects.

• Be careful with your use of font sizes and styles.


USING MULTIMEDIA IN
REPORTS
• Clips should be of the right length.

• The music should be appropriate.

• Multimedia are only props for support.


DELIVERING REPORTS
EFFECTIVELY
• Speak loudly and clearly.

• Vary your intonation.

• Use effective pace and phrasing.
