Services by 2017 revenue figures and the 596th largest public company in the
world based on revenue.

Infosys appointed Salil Parekh chief executive officer (CEO) and managing
director (MD) of the company with effect from 2 January 2018.

Leadership Development Programme
● The operational elements for the Leadership development at Infosys were represented
through the Nine pillar model.
● Leadership development at Infosys had three implications.
● The first implication was that growth should happen at all levels of the business and
organization, not just at the top level.
● The second implication was that the growth should stem from a vision that was
common across the organization.
● The third implication was that employees, teams, and individuals needed to go the extra
mile to reach their full potential
Measurement of Infosys Leadership
Impact:

● Leadership capability appraisal was the tool used to determine the effectiveness of
leadership development.
● The average score of it for the entire company was taken annually and it was checked
for forward movement. Regular audits were performed.
● After completion of training, development assignments were given and a timeline of
two to three months was provided to the leaders. It was a specific leadership index for
leaders to measure their success.
● The success of the leadership program at Infosys was in terms of achievements in
succession planning.

Psychometric Testing (MBTI) for Individual
Personality Assessments
● Psychometric testing allows the company to gather a comprehensive understanding of
an individual’s personality and abilities.
● The MBTI is a test that aims to identify where an individual falls on four different
dichotomies—sensing or intuition, introversion or extroversion, thinking or feeling, and
judging or perceiving and comes up with 16 different personality types labeled by
combination of initials.
● Around 80 per cent of new hires at Fortune 500 companies have been administered the
MBTI in the past decade, and countless other companies use it as part of the actual
employee selection process.
