Online teaching is education that takes
place over the internet, it often referred to
as “E-learning” among other terms,
However, online teaching is just one type of
“distance learning”. It provides instructors
with greater flexibility to address varing
learning styles and use different
technologies.
POSITIVE EFFECTS OF ONLINE
TEACHING
• Online Teaching can allow us to experiment with
techniques only available online enviornments,
such as threaded discussions and
webilographies.
• Online email discussions ,a frequently used
practice in online learning ,can be incorporated
into traditional courses to facilitate group work.
• Web-based course calender and sample papers
posted on the internet can easily be incorporated
into a traditional course.
Negative effects of online teaching

• Chances of Distraction are very High, students

can easily lose track of their studies in online
education since there are no face-to –face lecture
and students to remind us about assignments.
• Fradulent online learning.
• Cannot do courses that require labs/Workshops.
 conclusion

Here, I conclude by saying that online education has

brought a positive impact in the lives of students and
working professionals. It has given an opportunity to take
up additional courses along with their studies or job as per
their convenience.
