WORLD HEART

DAY
SEPTEMBER 29
EVERYONE
HAS THE
RIGHT TO A
HEALTHY
HEART
MANY ARE THE CAUSES:
• From tobacco, diabetes and high blood
pressure, even less common causes like
Chagas and Kawasaki disease, and rare
conditions such as cardiac amyloidosis
• They tend to affect certain populations in
particular, for reasons such as place of
origin, age and genetic antecedents.
• However, regardless of the cause, we
believe that every heartbeat counts.
FOR THAT REASON, ON WORLD HEART DAY, I WANT ALL
US TO BE HEROES OF THE HEART AND MAKE A
PROMISE:

• Pledge your families to cook and eat

healthier, exercise more, and quit using
tobacco.
• Pledge that we will help children to be more
active and say no to smoking.
• In the future i Promise, as a healthcare
professional, helping patients quit smoking
and lower cholesterol, as well as raising
awareness of all causes of CVD
• A promise to MY HEART, YOUR HEART.
