Heat

MADE BY RUMLA
heat

 Heat  is the form of energy that is transferred between systems or objects with

different temperatures (flowing from the high-temperature system to the( low-

temperature system). Also referred to as heat  energy or thermal energy. Heat  is

typically measured in Btu, calories or joules.

Importance of heat

The heat is very important in our daily life in warming the house, cooking, heating

the water and drying the washed clothes. The heat has many usages in the

industry as making and processing the food and manufacture of the glass, the

paper, the textile, ………etc.

Some facts of heat

 Heat happens when energy is burned or used. ...

 Warm objects expand or become larger. ...

 Heat  transfers from one object to another until both objects are the same temperature. ...

 Some  materials conduct – or transfer heat – better than others. ...

 Heat  can change the state of matter.

Heat in science

heat, energy that is transferred from one body to another as the result of a

difference in temperature. If two bodies at different temperatures are

brought together, energy is transferred—i.e.,heat  flows—from the hotter

body to the colder.

heat during chemical reaction

 Thermal decomposition:

The process of breaking down a substance into simpler substances by heat is

called thermal decomposition

Combustion

A substance when combines with oxygen, when heated.

Bunsen burner
Bunsen burner as apart of heat

Usually Bunsen burner non luminous flame which had opened air hole.

non luminous  are formed when the air-hole is opened.

luminous flame  are produce when the air-hole is closed.

More importantly, non-luminous  do not  produce soot, burn steadily

and produce more heat  or are much hotter when compared to non-

luminous flames.
Advantages

 The advantages of heat, or geothermal energy, seem to be thus:

The energy  itself is environmentally friendly due to the source – it's natural. It's

renewable, much like wind or gravity energy would be. It's cheaper than most

other energy  forms to make as well as being more efficient at its job of heating

things.19-Oct-2017
As a energy sources

 Heat, also known as thermal energy,

 is a type of energy that can be converted from other types of energy.

 Thermal energy is necessary to sustain life.

 Natural sources of heat energy can be found in plant and animal

 products, fossil fuels, the sun  and from within the Earth.16-Nov-2018
