MY FAVOURITE PLACE IN
HUILA: It is a tropical dry forest.
The Tatacoa Desert It is a natural landscape.

Its landform offers badlands, pinnacles, and isolated erosional remnants

forming curious figures produced by surface erosion.
The average temperature in
Tatacoa Desert is 28° C on
sunny days. it can go up to
40° C.

The temperature goes down at

night.
Tatacoa desert is on the north
west of Huila. It is five minutes
away from Villavieja.
It is 45 minutes away
from The Capital City
of Huila to Villavieja.
It is 10 minutes more
to the desert.
I want to talk about Tatacoa desert
because it has a history.
It is my favourite place because of
the activities you can do there. You
can have a Tatacoa star party, talks,
conferences, recreational and
academic activities related to
astronomic sciences.
I like this place for its colours,
vegetation and animals.
I like to talk about Tatacoa desert because this place is
for everyone, for people in love, for astronomers,
scholars, scientists, and students.

bed for three
days.

 What I learned…

When you go to a desert, you should wear sunscreen.

If you want to go to the pool wear sunscreen.

I don’t recommend to have a sunbath, you can get skin cancer.

Before going to the desert, you should pack a first aid kit.
