 Research is the physical process of gathering information and the
mental process of deriving the answer for the desired
Research Writing question from the information which is gathered.
 The process of sharing the answer to a research question along
with the evidence on which the answer is based, the sources which
are used and explanation is Known as Research Writing.
 No matter what field of study you are interested in, you will most
likely be asked to write a research paper during your academic
Purpose career which can be intimidating at first since it requires a lot of
effort, but at the same time it allows you to gain expertise on that
topic.
 The Following are the initial Steps for Research Writing.

 For Deciding a Topic the following steps should be taken
1. Brainstorming of Ideas
2. Selecting a topic that will unable the audience to read and
understand the literature
3. Ensure the material related to the topic is available

4. Be Flexible
5. Do more research on the topic
6. Formulate a Thesis Statement.
 It is a process of analyzing information, whether the topic makes
sense or not.This process includes the ability to reflect on ideas and
form independent thoughts and connecting concepts. It allows a
person to:
 Understand the logical connections between ideas
Critical  Identify, construct and evaluate arguments
Thinking  Detect inconsistencies and common mistakes in reasoning
 Solve problems systematically
 This is when a person reads beyond the abstracts of the articles,
Starting of gathering Information and using new search terms and key words
from the information gathered. Researching more will increase
Research these keywords which will become evident for the topic.
 Quote, paraphrase, or outline important ideas from the materials
that you have read. It is important to cite the sources and give

are being used. Jot down the author, title, publisher, date of
publication, and page number of all sources used in the research.
 Papers should have a beginning, a middle, and an end. The
introductory paragraph should grab the attention of the readers.

 The title should be specific and indicate the theme of the research
and what ideas it addresses. Usage of keywords that helps in

 The abstract is used by readers to get a quick overview of your
paper. Typically, they are about 200 words in length (120 words
minimum to  250 words maximum). The abstract should introduce
