     The correct amount of time to spend on employee
    orientation varies from organization to organization. Job
    orientation programs range from a single day to an
    entire week.
     Some present brief welcome to new employees, collect
    the necessary paperwork, and send the new hires off to
    work.
     Other choose to do all things, then dive into company
    policies, procedures and customer training and possibly
    more.

     The widely accepted general standard for a new


    employee’s orientation duration is around three hours or
    no longer than a full workday.

    sessions:
     Itis impossible for a new employee to absorb all
    information in one long session of orientation.
     Due to long orientation sessions, employee lose interest
    in the new job before they even start.
