What are “QUESTION TAGS”?

 Question tags (нели-прашања) се кратки прашања

кои се користат на крајот од реченицата.
 Се користат во говорниот англиски јазик
 кога се бара потврда или согласување за некој
исказ

There are two forms:

POSITIVE SENTENCE NEGATIVE QUESTION TAG

e.g: It’s raining, isn’t it?

NEGATIVE SENTENCE POSITIVE QUESTION TAG

e.g: She isn’t reading, is she?
Ако реченицата има помошен глагол (или глагол TO BE),
го повторуваме во нели-прашањето:

• They are playing, ___________?

aren’t they

• He is studying, ____________?

isn’t he
 Pay attention to the 1st person singular
of the verb TO BE, in the negative
form:

•I am charming, __________?

amn’t I
aren’t I
Ако реченицата нема помошен глагол, користиме “do”,
“does”, “did” , “don’t”, “doesn’t” или “didn’t” во нели-
прашањето:
• He studies very hard, _________?
does he

• She doesn’t know where to go, ________?
