The mothers were angry because the Knight of the Night was late and the children did not
sleep.

2. The Knight of the Night was cleaning all day because tomorrow is Sunday.

He was cleaning up the whole day.

1. The Knight of the Night had to put the sun to sleep and wake the moon up.
2. He had to check the wind blowing in the garden to ensure all the dust was blown from the grass and the
flowers.
3. He had to go up to the sky, bring down the star and make them shiny bright.

It was because the mother did not believe him.

It is because she did not believe what the Knight of the Night
said.

No, she didn’t. It was because all the children were already fast
asleep.
