A) Read the following sentences and write their kind s.

B) Rearrange the words in the following groups to make each group a meaningful sentence .Also write the
kind of the sentence in the bracket.

Ans: The owlet was scared when grandfather picked it up as it hissed and clacked its bill.
Ans: The word ‘enquiring ‘ means ‘to ask’ and thus here it means ‘curious’. The narrator uses
the word to show that the owl looked out from the hole in the tree to find out who was tapping
on the tree trunk.
4. What did the mother owl do that made the narrator think that she did not trust him to look
after the baby owls?
Ans: The mother owl had left a mouse for her babies.
