Retrograde Planet
 If a person is born while a planet is in retrograde motion, he/she is immensely effected by the planet’s
qualities. If more than 1 planet in retrograde at the time of birth, then the planet with most number of degrees
in its sign will effect the person more.
1. If a planet is retrograde in its exalted sign, it loses its power to help the native.
2. If a planet is retrograde in its debilated sign, it gains more power and helps the native in all possible ways
3. If a planet is debilated and retrograde in Navamsa chart but anywhere in Rasi chart, will be helpful
4. Natural benefics (jupiter, venus, mercury, moon) if own 4,7,10 houses from Ascendant and are retrograde,
then will cause more problems in all aspects to the houses they own and also the house they’re placed in.
5. Natural malefics (Sun,Mars,Saturn) if own 4,7,10 houses from Ascendant and are retrograde, then will
benefic results in all aspects to the houses they own and also the house they’re placed in.
6. Any planet owning 1,5,9 houses(they shouldn’t own 6,8,12 at the same time) if retrograde will be helpful to
the person.
7. All planets(except jupiter) give results of the house they started retrograding from, but not the house
they’re placed in at birth. Only Jupiter gives results of same house in which it is placed at birth time.

Dharma Trikona (1,5,9)
Those houses are related with the sense of duty, mission in life, the way the soul
progresses in the spiritual evolution, the philosophy of life, religion, spirituality,
type of worship, spiritual teachers and learning, honesty and moral values.
Those are considered the most auspicious houses, since following dharma or
duty brings "good luck" due to good karma.
These houses show the good karma from the past and how it affects this present
life.
Planets placed on those houses as well as the houses they rule tend to prosper
and be favourable to the native and also indicate the way the person progresses
spiritually in life and creates good karma for the future.

get what you need, and the possible obstacles in life and capacity to
overcome them.
The 10 th house represents the success in career, status or position in
society, name and fame.

The 7 th house represents mainly the sexual desire and attraction to the
opposite sex and the desire to have close committed relationships and
partnerships.
The 11 th house relates more with the desire for money, gain and
possession of the desired objects. It also relates with the desire to enjoy
friendship and social relationships.
Moksha Trikona

attachment.
Moksha is the highest goal of life, the return to the source from where the soul came from, to attain
absolute illumination and freedom.
That requires detaching and letting go the material world and thoughts for the full immersion into the
spiritual consciousness.
The 4 th house relates with the path of devotion or Bhakti, surrender of the heart (opening of the heart
chakra) and sublimation of the emotions to God and the experience of cosmic love.
The 8 th house relates to the destruction of the spiritual ignorance and purification from previous
"papas" or bad karmas and awakening of the Kundalini energy, the spiritual power which brings the
capacity to control and have mastery over the mind and conquer death.
The 12 th house represents the complete surrender of the Ego and sense of individuality to God,
detachment from the material possessions; it is the path of renunciation, seclusion, monkhood and
surrender.
The Dushtana houses (6,8,12)
Those houses are adverse for the material prosperity and well being and planets placed in
those houses and the houses they rule tend to suffer, be obstructed and be sources of pain
in life.
The people or parts of the body that the planets placed on those houses represent, will tend
to be a source of pain.
If the planets paced here are exalted or in own house it is actually beneficial and give the

The Kendra (Quadrant) houses (1,4,7,10)
They represent the strength of the chart and life as a whole, and give the capacity to achieve
the desired goals. Sharp, Energetic, Decisive, Penetrating. Like Cardinal signs, best placement
for them (cardinal sings)Planets placed in those houses are strong and have a capacity to
express their energy fully.

Only Natural malefic lords of Kendra are benefic (Saturn, Mars and Sun) (Cyberastro), Malefic
lords are not malefic and benefic not benefic (KR Rao) Kendradhipati dosha.

If Lord of Kendra is also Lord of Trikona it will give good result (Raj Yoga) even if they are

The 10th
th house is considered the strongest and planets placed here tend to dominate the whole

chart and can sometimes be even more predominant than the ascendant on their effect in life
and personality. (10741)
The Panapara (succedent)houses (2,5,8,11)
Those houses correspond in meaning to the fixed signs, related with
stability, preservation, income and material security. Preserve and maintain.

The Apoklima (Cadent) houses (3,6,9, 12)

Planets placed on these houses are considered weak, uncertain and hidden like mutable or
dual signs. Adaptable, sensitive, intelligent and versatile. Instability, inconsistency and
nervous. Better for spiritual and creative development.

Among them, the 9th th house is the best since it is also a dharma house and planets placed

here are strong and tend to bring good luck. Strength 93612

The 12th
th house is considered the weakest one and planets placed here have difficulty to

express their energy in the material concrete level, but they can be good for the spiritual
advancement.
The Upachaya houses (3,6,11,10)

Planets placed in those houses tend to grow and

improve over time.

The malefic planets placed here (specially on 3,6

difficulties in life.

houses.

The ruler of the 8th

th, 12th
th and 3rd
rd houses or planets placed on those houses are also

capable of causing death.

Fructification of House
The signification of the houses fructify under the planetary sub-periods connected
with them. The nature and extent of significations are dependent on three things, i.e.
(1)the strength of the lord of the house, in case of mooltrikona signs;
(2)the strength of the significator of the house; and
(3)the influences on the house itself.
(4)The significations of the houses containing mooltrikona signs suffer if their lords
and significators are weak or they or their lords or significators are under the
influence of functional malefic planets.
(5)The significations of the houses containing non-mooltrikona signs suffer if their
significators are weak or they or their significators are under the influence of
functional malefic planets.
Yoga (D.A.R.E.S.)
D for Dhana or wealth, monetary gains, the lords that should be seen for this are of
the first, second, fifth, ninth and eleventh and of course cords of those houses.
A for Arista of misfortunes of ill health and tragic events. The lords and houses to
be seen are the third, sixth, eight and twelfth including the lagna invariably and its lord.
R for Rajayoga or combination for rise professionally and otherwise promise of
distinctions in various fields. The houses and lords to be seen are the first, fourth,
seventh and tenth and their combinations (PAC) with the lords of the fifth and the
ninth houses.
E for Exchange
Some horoscopes have some very special features (S) by overlooking which we
astrologers commit serious mistakes.
Yogas of the Chart
Evaluate the Dasa and Bhukti
A. Evaluate the condition of the Dasa lord. Its strength, then its placement by house, the aspects it receives, yogas it

forms, etc., all of which will affect how the Dasa will play out.

B. Everything that the Dasa lord influences gets activated during its Dasa, e.g. the house it occupies, the house(s) it

aspects, the house(s) it rules, the planets it aspects, the life themes it represents, etc. If a Dasa Lord rules or occupies or

aspects a house whose themes it signifies, then that theme is greatly emphasized during that Dasa.

 C. When running the Bhukti of a planet that has a relationship with the Dasa lord -- mutual or unilateral, such as in the

same or opposite houses, in the other's sign, yogas formed by both, etc. -- the themes represented by that relationship

will be activated and it will be a very important time in the person's life.

 D. The house placement of the Bhukti lord relative to the Dasa indicates both the themes of and the ease of that

Dasa/Bhukti. Bhukti lords 6,8, or 12 houses from the Dasa Lord can be problematic.
Evaluate the Transits
The themes of the house occupied by transiting Saturn will
be greatly emphasized.
