Information
Nestlé is the world’s largest food and
beverage company. We have more than
2000 brands ranging from global icons to
local favourites, and we are present in
189 countries around the world. Nestlé's
products include baby food, medical
food, bottled water, breakfast cereals,
coffee and tea, confectionery, dairy
products, ice cream, frozen food, pet
foods, and snacks.
History
The history of Nestlé began in Vevey,
Switzerland, in1867
when founder Henri Nestlé created one of the
first infant foods in response to the need for a
healthy and affordable product to serve as an
alternative for mothers who could not
breastfeed their babies. He called his product
Farine Lactée Henri Nestlé.
Nestlé Bangladesh Limited
• Nestlé Bangladesh Limited started commercial
operations in 1994 with its first factory in Sreepur.
Nestlé Bangladesh became a 100% owned subsidiary
of Nestlé S.A. in 1998.
• Baby foods, Sports Nutrition, Chocolates, Waters,
Beverages, Coffee, Frozen meals ,Ice cream and
frozen treats, Imported foods, Healthcare Nutrition,
Pet foods

Nestlé's aim is to meet the various needs of
the consumer everyday by marketing and
selling foods of a consistently high quality.´
Mission
We strive to bring consumers foods that are
safe, of high quality and provide optimal
nutrient to meet physiological needs. Nestle
helps provide selections for all individual
taste and lifestyle preferences.

Nestlé Bangladesh’s leading objectives are
to develop safe and wholesome packaged
foods using the most efficient and
appropriate packaging materials available,
while, at the same time, satisfying consumer
requirements and expectations
SWOT Analysis
Strengths
• Global recognition and strong brand portfolio (7
billion dollar reputation).
• Strong internal growth and internal emphasis on
innovation .

Weaknesses
• Warehouse storage problems.
• Products sent from India are usually tampered with,
hence it takes a great deal of time to sort those out.

and satisfy the consumers as much as
