1. Introduction
• Energy is a fundamental fixing of socio-economic advancement and financial development.

• Pakistan is one of the foremost populated nations within the southern Asia locale,

contributing around 2.56 % of the entire global population.

• Without adequate energy in usable shapes and at reasonable costs, there's a small prospect

of advancements of making strides the economy of a nation and the living conditions of the individuals.

1. Introduction
• All the major sectors such as the transportation, industrial and household sector
and control era divisions require increase in energy per year to run persistently.

• As increasing the prices of oil and gas in international market, energy become costly and
which may result in closure of many industries

• More than 80% of add up to oil necessities were imported from overseas by investing almost US$

11 billion per annum

Problem Statement
• Economical supply of energy to meet the current and future demands in Pakistan will depend on full-
scale from the distinctive energy sources in arrange to create noteworthy commitments to the supply
chain

• It is hence basic that Pakistan must create inborn environment neighborly renewable energy sources

to oversee the approaching energy emergency.

Research Question(s)
 What are renewable energy resources to manage energy crisis in Pakistan?

Research Objective(s)

• The objective of this inquire about is

to discover diverse renewable energy assets and increment the adequacy or energy creating uni
ts.

• The objective of this proposition is to discover other renewable energy assets to oversee energy assets.

LITERATURE REVIEW
• Pakistan has the scarcity of energy resources which results in issues such as due
to deficiency of energy.
• Power shortfall of the nation was over 4000MW in 2008 and it is assessed to reach over 8000MW by
the end of the year 2010. . This issue will exaggerate in future since national energy request is
additionally expanding at a normal yearly rate of 5.67%.
• Pakistan primarily depends upon the routine energy assets and there's not much exertion for the
utilization of RE assets for power era.
• Renewable energy ventures have the potential to progress energy security, give financial benefits,
Solar, wind, biomass and hydro energy resources are widespread and can be found in abundance in
Pakistan

LITERATURE REVIEW
Wind energy:
• Wind control innovation is the expeditious renewable energy source having worldwide installed capacity
(both inland and offshore) of 121 GW.

SOLAR
• The South Western territory of Balochistan and North Eastern portion of Sindh offer fabulous conditions
for tackling sun powered energy where sun sparkles between 7 and 8 h day by day or roughly more than
2300–2700 h per annum.

• In spite of the favorable conditions, the utilize of sun based energy for creating power or warming is still

in its beginning

LITERATURE REVIEW
BIOMASS
• In our towns each family have a sufficient livestock to deliver sufficient creature squander and this
could be utilized for the making of biogas.
• The Pakistan Government (presently PCRET) begun a Biogas venture in 1974.
They extraordinarily made 4137 biogas plants by 1987 within the country ranges of the nation
• Hydro energy:
• Energy era from moving water is known as hydro control.
• Concurring to REN21one-
fifthoftheworldwideelectricitysupplyand87%ofthe power created from reestablish able energy sources
(RES) comes from hydro.

LITERATURE REVIEW
◦ Hydro too plays an imperative part in Pakistan's power era. The country's add up to power era capacity is
23,000MW, out of which 6500MW is created by hydro, constituting 34% of the overall era capacity. The
country's add up to hydel potential is assessed as 100GW, with the recognized locales of 59 GW. This
source can be utilized to combat the energy emergency.
◦ The 2006 Policy for Development of Renewable Energy for Power Generation
◦ AEDB presented the Arrangement for Advancement of Renewable Energy for Control Era in 2006. This
is often Pakistan’s to begin with energy approach pointed particularly at the advancement of
renewable energy control ventures.
