• Business case analysis provides you with the opportunity to learn by
doing. Therefore, real case analysis is an essential part of any business
management course. Accordingly, you have to know what business is
it the company that you want to study and in what industry it
operates.
• In a case analysis, articulation of the problem that is supposed to be
solved is critical. The problem identifies the area or areas where there
are issues that need to be addressed, such as inappropriate strategies,
inefficiencies, missed opportunities, unacceptable market
performance or unfavorable consumer response to a product or
service, etc.
• In general, the purpose of the case analysis is to let you apply the
concepts you have learned in Strategic Management by analyzing the
issues facing a particular company.
