mind based on feelings and judgements.
• Self esteem is how much a person values or accepts themselves
of who they are and how they look.

• Social Media (Celebrity, Influencers)
• Diet Advertisements
• Friendship, family, and relationship.
Developing A Healthy Body Image
STEP 1
• De-emphasize weight.
• Weight is not the problem, and diet is not the answer.

STEP 2
• Avoid comparing yourself with celebrities and models.
• Everyone develops differently at different times.
STEP 3
• Don’t stress out and give yourself time.
• Don’t focus on minor imperfections.
STEP 4
• Learn about healthy food choices and different exercises.
• Surround yourself with people who have healthy relationship with food, weight, and their body.

• True happiness comes from within.
• Appreciate your uniqueness.
• Be accepting.
• Move and enjoy your body.
