STATEMENT
• It is the policy of RMC Readymix (India) Pvt. Ltd. To ensure, as far
as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all the
employees and others affected by the company’s operations.
• Compliance with legislation will be the minimum target in setting
acceptable levels of safety
• Health and safety is of prime importance to our business
• Sufficient resource in terms of finance, information, training and
supervision will be provided to allow the effective implementation of
this policy.
• The company recognizes that commitment and co-operation is
required at all location and at all levels to secure a culture that
promotes a safe and healthy workplace
• It is an objective of the company to see continual improvement in
levels of safety, minimize risk to health by means of involvement,
consultation, reviews, suggestion schemes, audits and risk
assessment.
• It is essential that staffs are competent to carry out their duties. High
quality training will be provided to all the employees
• Hold all levels of Management accountable for health and safety
matters in their area of responsibility, while at the same time
recognizing that each employee has direct responsibility, while at
the same time recognizing that each employee has direct
responsibility to follow practices which ensure their own health and
safety and that of their fellow employees, contractors, public.
• Provide health and safety device on our products to customer and
the public.
• The Health and Safety Policy will be reviewed at least annually or
whenever circumstances indicate a review is necessary.
• The policy is based on the fundamental belief that all works related
injuries and illness are avoidable. There is no task we undertake
which is so important that we can’t take time to find a safe way to do
it.
