Introduction

Tourism is travel for


recreational,
leisure,family and
business purposes
usually for a limited
duration.
Forms of tourism
 Domestic tourism:
Domestic tourism is tourism involving residents of one
country travelling only within that country
 Inbound tourism
Incoming tourism is also known as”INBOUND
TOURISM”. Incoming tourism means travelers arriving in
different countries from their own.
 Outbound tourism:
it refers to residence to travel outside their home
country.
AGRA
• Agra’s Taj mahal is one
the most famous
buildings in the world,
the mausoleum of Shah
jahan’s favourite wife,
Mumtaz mahal.
• it is one of the new
seven wonders of the
world,and one of three
world heritage sites in
Agra.
GOA
Goa is famous for its
pristine beaches,infact
90% of all the tourism
in Goa happens only for
its beautiful beaches in
coastal areas.
Goa has two main
tourist seasons:winter
and summer
kashmir
• Kashmir was once called
“Heaven of earth”,and
one of the most beautiful
places in the world.
CHARMINAR
The Charminar is a monument
and mosque in Hyderabad,
India.
The structure was built in
1591 AD.Charminar is the
beating heart of Hyderabadies.
it is one of those marvels that
is soaked knee-deep
in history.
STRENGTH OF INDIA FOR
TOURISM
Country of rich heritage and traditions having a vast and varied
history.
Unity in diversity i:e..multicultural people staying together in
the same country.
One of the fastest growing economies of the world.
India has been maintaining good and cordial relationship with
other countries which helps the people of those countries to get
the visas easily to visit India.
CONCLUSION

Tourism is not all bad.The education the can come about when
travelling and interacting can be greater than that gained from
any textbook.
Tourism can also overshadow or in the opposite direction
drastically change the indigenous cultures of a place.
