Modular Learning Modality: Its Effect to the
Performance of Senior High School (TVL) Students

 Face to face learning engagement of students and

teachers within the school has been suspended due to the
COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has paved the way to
the implementation of Modular Distance Learning as an
urgent response to ensure continuity of education. The
Philippines is in the process of adapting to the new normal
form of education at present, and continuous innovations
of educators and active involvement of other stakeholders
are the driving force for its success.
The Impact of Media Technology on
Facilitating Learning
 Technology is very helpful especially in the new normal of
education since COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing people
depend on media and its duty is to inform, educate and
entertain the people. It helps us to know current situation
around the world. The media has a strong social and
cultural impact upon society. Media comes in different
forms and each form affects the way students learn and
interpret information.
Developing Competency Based
Learning Materials in Dressmaking
(Exploratory)
 A curriculum that emphasizes the complex outcomes of a
learning process (i.e. knowledge, skills and attitudes to be
applied by learners) rather than mainly focusing on what
learners are expected to learn about in terms of
traditionally-defined subject content. Competency-Based
Learning Material (CBLM) is a student-
centered learning approach that provides the students
with learning tools they need to learn at their own pace
and make choices about the sequence of their learning.

 Collaborative learning is a situation in which two or more
people learn or attempt to learn something together.
Thus, collaborative learning is commonly illustrated when
groups of students work together to search for
understanding, meaning, or solutions or to create an
artifact or product of their learning.
Comprehensive Sexuality Education: As
an Approach to Avoid Early Pregnancy
 Philippine teenage pregnancy rate 2021 According to
POPCOM, at the end of 2020, more than 70,000 families
were led by minors. However, the agency warned that this
number will dramatically rise to 133,265 by the end
of 2021. The government mandates the integration of
Comprehensive Sexuality Education wherein it is a rights-
based and gender-focused approach to sexuality
education, whether in school or out of school. But it also
goes beyond information, helping young people to explore
and nurture positive values regarding their sexual and
reproductive health.
