PROCESS NOTES
Role of consultant corner in Operations.

In consultant corner there is provision to track the status of the


above proposal/ Policy which has been already logged.

Consultant corner provides easy access as it is available in all


PCs.
Advantages

 No Delay in the status history updates.

 Easy to access information.

 Reduces TAT.

 Helps to trace out the whereabouts of proposal.

Audit Trail eg : Pending proposal

Click on specific proposal no to know the


track history and pending reason.

Above proposal is pending for medicals as


the requirement was raised on 09/05/2006
How to read a Case Status History

Application logged – The application code for the


particular proposal form is punched in the system confirming
the receipt of the proposal form at Hub.

Application Scanned and Indexed – The application is


scanned and the proposal form is filed with an index number

Note : After indexing, only the soft copy of the proposal form is
used for processing (Data entry, Scrutiny, Underwriting,
Conversion)

Client setup completed – The client details are updated in


the system at HUB.
How to read a Case Status History

 Proposal setup is completed – The client ID is attached


to the proposal number.

 QC of client and proposal setup completed – Scrutiny is done


for the proposal.
 Cash Attached – The receipt is attached to the proposal
number to confirm the cashier entry.

The above steps are common for both U/w and Non U/w
products. If the above mentioned steps are completed for
Non – U/w products, it will get converted very soon.For
U/w Products, the proposal goes for underwriting and
medicals are triggered or gets converted
How to read a Case Status History

 Response received for medical requirements – HUB has


received the medical or further requirements raised by
the U/ws after completion of medicals by the clients and
Dispatch of the same to Hub by branch.

 Case approved by Underwriter – The medical reports are


analysed by the Medical Officer and approved for conversion.

Incase the underwriters need further clarifications on


the medical reports, second time medicals or remedical
from different path lab or further requirements are
raised.
How to read a Case Status History

 Case Converted – The proposal is converted into a policy


and the risk is commenced.

 Policy dispatched – The policy document is dispatched


from HUB.

Incase if HUB has not received the requirements


within stipulated time then,

“Response for medical requirement not received”


“Proposal cancelled due to no response to Further requirement”
are updated and the case turns NTU.
