It is a mini departmental market deals with all kind of
groceries, cosmetics, toiletries, home utilities, etc. It is a
supermarket departmental store .
 Location: Hotel Raj square, Similipada, Anugul.
 Started : September, 2020.
 Store building : Under rent.
 Employees’ size strength: 20
Business Model

ASM business model is basically a retailer model. Business is


related to purchase of goods from distributor and then sell
them to customer for a price that will cover both expenses and
turn profit. It has planned to extend its branch to Talcher.

Problems faced by ASM

• Unbalanced inventory- ASM faces difficulties in managing stock due to

• GPS tracking of home delivery boy- Though they have features of GPS
tracking in MARG, but they don’t found it reliable interface and is quite
expensive. As they are in infant stage of business, they are suggesting
FOCUS ERP retail software for GPS tracking as it is cheaper compared
to MARG.
• Promotional strategy (social media presence)- Though they have
features of app, website and email message notifications in MARG, but
they don’t find it reliable. Hence they are less active in Social media.
They have only facebook page with less adequate online presence.

enterprise in local markets of Anugul. With short span of its
business, it was able to create strong and loyal customer base

success of Angul super market. MARG software provides
application of inventory management, expiry management,
billing service and customer loyalty point. Though software has
limitation of multiple stores use and is not reliable for less
skilled work force. ASM faces difficulties of order tracking, GPS
tracking for delivery service, loss of inventory. Hence FOCUS
