Kurzweil 3000 Text  Text-to-Speech (TTS) is a very popular assistive technology in which a
computer or tablet reads the words on the screen out loud to the user.
to Speech Program While this can help students work around their reading difficulties and
access the classroom material, this technology does not assist
students in developing reading skills.

 At kurzweiledu.com you can sign up for a free trial or $500 for a one-
year subscription. $2,000 for 10 users; $3,000 for 30 users; $4,000
site-or school-wide. Discounts apply for multi-year and multi-site users.

Happy Numbers

 The thoughtfully designed progression of skills, concepts, connections, and tools that
students acquire through Happy Numbers ensures a firm foundation for middle school
and beyond. Happy Numbers can ensure students get quality instruction when working
independently (freeing up teachers to differentiate with small groups)

 The pricing is given for yearly licenses.  It is $14.50 per student. If a school is
purchasing the license then they offer more features as well as if the district is
purchasing. The school gets training, data reporting, and a dedicated school support
specialist. The district gets all previously mentioned as well as data reporting at the
school and district levels.

 Happy Numbers would be great for elementary students. It allows the students to go at
their own pace, get practice on topics that are hard for them as well as stay engaged in
their learning, but it also allows teachers to track their progress. It allows us as
teachers to understand what topics we may need to do one-on-one work with for
certain students or if the students are ready to move onto the next subject. I think it is
also great because students won’t feel behind or left out, they will just know that they

scoring system which stimulates students’ natural curiosity and highlights the connection between science and the real world."

 Ways you can see it fitting into the K-12 curriculum?

 Labster is ideal for schools that have limited resources available for students for science. It is a safe alternative for younger students who do not need to handle toxic chemicals or deal with glass that may break.  They are safe from harm while having an immersive
interactive experience as they would in real life. For older students, it is great because they can experience a variety of topics without worrying about damage or potential injury to themselves or others.

Kami

 Kami offers student-centric collaborative learning,

allows students to interact with any document, and
gives the teacher a seamless workflow with access
online or offline, in-class or remote.

 There are three pricing options available:

           Basic Plan (free), Teacher Plan ($99/year),

and School & District (Custom pricing by requesting
a quote)

 Students and teachers may annotate, insert films,

audios, and photos into a variety of documents that
can be placed into kami. Users will save time by not
having to hunt for a variety of applications that
support specific document formats when they use
this app. Because it puts everything into one
location, I believe it will aid students in learning and
teachers in teaching. This software allows teachers
to give and grade any sort of homework. Teachers
could, for example, offer math homework in the form
of PDF files, English homework in the form of word
documents, and so on.

Loom

 Loom:

 “Record quick videos of your screen and cam. An essential

tool for hybrid workplaces.”

 Pricing options available include:

           Starter (free), Business ($8 per creator per month, when

paying once a year) or ($10 per creator when paying month to
month), and Enterprise (needs to be discussed by contacting
Sales)

           The last option is use for education: For teachers at

schools, universities, or educational institutions using video
messaging for

           classroom work they must fill out an application for a

Free account.

 Loom is a platform that allows users to record and share

videos ahead of time. As a result, I feel it would be an
excellent way for teachers to film demonstrations or lessons
that could be referenced numerous times. Another reason to

utilize loom is to allow students to display their computer
screen while learning remotely. This would be especially useful
for tasks that involve presenting on a separate platform from
another location, such as Google Slides.

Flipgrid

 “Flipgrid is a simple, free, and accessible video

discussion experience for learners and families. Start
a discussion and engage your community...together!”

 Flipgrid is available free to anyone.

 Flipgrid allows you to store and replay videos, which is

why I think it's a wonderful method to give brief
response presentations that allow students to
participate. Show and tell, for example, is a fantastic
activity that allows children to learn more about their
peers, but it can be difficult to bring significant objects
to school for fear of misplacing, damaging, or losing
them. These sorts of problems may be avoided using
Flipgrid since students can share anything from a
secure and pleasant environment. A video response
may be more personal than a written/typed response,
which is another reason Flipgrid might be an excellent This Photo by Unknown Author is licensed under CC BY-SA-NC
program to utilize in class. Finally, I feel Flipgrid may
be a fantastic method to share ideas and concepts
while also allowing others to participate in personal
projects. Artwork, for example, may be shared, and
others can review and like it.

skills in all grade levels. Many children are apprehensive when it comes to artistic
abilities. When you take away that barrier you can enhance learning objectives across
domains. Students can not only use this application in the Language Arts department but
in other domains. In History, this can be used to convey a biography, war, or time period.
It can be used to illustrate science and math concepts. I will be purchasing for my
classroom.

DNS. Powerful alone. Better together. Unify your filtering, classroom management, and school mental health tools into a
single suite. GoGuardian’s suite of tools helps you maximize the learning potential of your 1:1 school technology program.
 4) When you go to pricing the website has you submit an inquiry sheet with your information, interest, school, and other
information. It does say you can get a free trial but not for how long or any details.
 5) In a world where online learning became necessary, this program reassured parents and teachers alike. This program has
the safety of children in mind- it does not only block developmentally inappropriate content but also alerts administrators to
possible suicidal thoughts/bullying/abuse through searches/chats/school work on devices. It filters and monitors children's
online use. Teachers are able to minimize distractions, get students back on-task, view in real-time what they are working on
-for what class, view history after class, send personal and class messages all with a click of their mouse. My school has had
this program for several years, I was always curious about it. In Pre-k where my children need me to spell out and provide the
words/sites that they want to see, I never had to learn about it because I was never taught. One of my students decided she
was done with STMath and typed in BTS, her favorite band, and got locked out. I had to call IT.

 I can see it fitting into the K-12 curriculum first and foremost for scheduling parent-teacher conferences.
I have actually used sign-up genius for parent-teacher conferences for 5 years now. I find that it is easier
on me and my parents, especially those parents you do not see often due to work hours-like me. This is
also a valuable asset when it comes to planning field trips, celebrations, and events when you need
parent volunteers or donations- so you do not end up with 62 cupcakes and 12boxes of cookies for 18 4-
year-olds. Sign-ups are also important in fundraising and club activities, as well as staff potlucks, and
helps keep track of attendees and helps keep in mind which families to reach out to.
