Info-persuasive
Material
• This info-persuasive material is a technology and data-
driven advocacy that promotes gender equality.
• It showcases the students understanding on the subject
GED109 or Gender and Society by creating a material
that will persuade people to adhere or believe a
specific gender advocacy.
• This includes basic research and examination of
evidences in order to make a point.
• THIS IS THE ULTIMATE OUTCOME FOR MODULE 3. This
means that this activity will be submitted on the 11th
week of the term.

Guidelines
1. This is an individual assignment.
2. Everyone is encouraged to be as creative as possible.
3. One must do a simple research in order to support their advocacy.
4. For the PUBMAT, it shall be submitted on BB, under Info-persuasive
material link.
5. If you designed a website, or you have a Vlog on Youtube, paste the
link on BB (submission text), under Info-persuasive material link.
6. The Vlog must be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 10
minutes.
7. You are to post your advocacy on any of your social media account
and tag me. Use the hashtag #GED109 #GenderEquality
8. The more shares and reacts, the higher the chance of getting a
good grade.
On making an
advocacy…
• The advocacy should be data-driven. Make sure
that your advocacy is well- researched and not just
based on hearsay.
• The advocacy should promote gender equality.
• The advocacy should be catchy, however, you
should avoid harsh or foul words.
• Make sure that the advocacy is sensitive to all
genders, race, class and status.
A write up on your
advocacy:
• Aside from the material that you made, make a write up on
your advocacy explaining what is it all about.
• Introduction: What is the issue all about?
• Discussion: This part includes the review of articles that will
help you strengthen your point. Make sure that you will
mention legitimate sources and cite the authors of the sources
to avoid plagiarism. Summarize your points and arguments in
order to create a strong support to your advocacy.
• Your learning insights. Give three (3) valuable learnings that
you acquired from GED 109.
• Your overall rating: Please rate your overall experience in
GED109. I will appreciate if you will tell what are the
things/topics/activities that you liked or liked less.
