Power requirements of new products led to update of solution scenarios Single band RRU (<500W average power)
 Delivery of Huawei OVP was stopped. Can’t be installed anymore. Scenario Description
Only new Rosenberger OVP SLPDU058-00 or/and Huawei DC Box only to be used Scenario S1 ≤20m between DC Box and RRU 4mm2
 Rosenberger OCB (Outdoor Connection Box) SLPDU059-00 introduced 21m ~50m between Rosenberger OVP and DC Box 16mm2
Scenario S2
Its use depends on distance between RRU and Rosenberger OVP box
 Cable wire diameter is calculated by distance between RRU and Rosenberger OVP. Scenario S3 51m ~100m between Rosenberger OVP and DC Box 2x16mm2
 Special mix scenario for Multiband RRU(>500W) and single band RRU up to 20m only (M1.2)
 In case of changing or installing new RRU, new Rosenberger OVP box is needed Multiband RRU(valid for RRU5501,RRU5509t,RRU5519et)

DC cable grounding rules – Where?
1. grounding clip must be near to inlet of a building/container in case the OVP is indoors.
No grounding near to inlet of a building/container or Cabinet in case the OVP is outdoors.

Valid only in case that grounding of shielding is done in distribution box on one side and RRU or OCB on the other one. See following pages.
