Introduction

● NTS Amega West is a new private limited SME company, incorporated in Singapore in
October 2020, located at 32 Tuas Ave 4. The company is doing as a precision
machining and a supplier of the oilfield equipment to the upstream Oil and Gas
clients. Currently as a NTS Group, it has 8 manufacturing and service units across
worldwide with Headquarters in Dubai. The primary products include NDMC Raw
Materials, Drill Collars, Drill Subs, and Stabilizers.
Objective
● TTE is intended to assist the owners/management and Fire Safety
Managers (FSMs) of buildings to address the needs of their buildings and
building occupants in terms of coping with an emergency situation.

● TTW will surface issues, run through on ERP and in discussion, assessed
and finally addressed with solutions drawn up to ensure that all efforts
towards preparation and readiness for the emergency will be well co-
ordinated and workable.

Evacuation Scenario & Standard Operation Procedure

ON DISCOVERING FIRE:
• Electrical short circuit noted and fire ignited.
• Worker raised the alarm by breaking the glass of
the alarm call-point
• Single stage alarm” and “total evacuation”.
• All personnel must stop and immediately evacuate
on hearing the fire alarm
• Call for assistance and attack the incipient fire

Evacuation Scenario & Standard Operation Procedure

EVACUATION PROCEDURE :
• All occupants shall evacuate in a calm and orderly manner to the Assembly Point via nearest exits
• Fire Wardens shall alert all staffs at each floor to evacuate by the nearest exit and safe exit routes.
• Fire Wardens shall facilitate the evacuation of vulnerable persons in the building.
• Company host shall escort visitors/ contractors to the Assembly Point.
• Fire Wardens shall check the Alarm Panel and inform the location of fire to ERT/SMC/ SIC/FSM.
• Fire Wardens shall facilitate the rollcalls at the Assembly Point.

IN-HOUSE FIRE FIGHTING AND RESCUE:


• SMC will activate in house emergency response procedure including ERT.
• ERTs should gather at the assembly point and swiftly wear PPE ready (~1min).
• SIC will lead the ERT to reach fire area (~3min) for initial response and control the situation.
• SIC verifies the incident and report the extent of fire to SMC/FSM.
• ERT will respond to incipient fire and attempt to extinguish with fire extinguishers when it is safe.
• SMC will call SCDF Control Room after initial assessment of the fire situation.
• If the fire escalation is potential beyond the boundaries, SMC/FMS notify neighbors.
Evacuation Scenario & Standard Operation Procedure
SCDF OPERATIONS
• SMC will liaise with SCDF ground commander.
• Upon arrival of SCDF, emergency control will be taken and ERT will assist the SCDF.
• FSM will provide the ERP details and necessary assistance to SCDF ground commander.
• WSHO will support SCDF and SPF for the initial assessment and investigations.

RECOVERY OPERATION:
• The incident area cordoned off for further investigation and shall only be return to normalcy upon
clean-up.
• SMC will communicate to media, recovery plan and advise on the work resumption
