manufacturing cost.

FLOOD PROOFING

develop wetlands, sponge
villages, flood drainage
system, diversion channels.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
1. PPP – Public Private Partnership is a must to get better result as it would result in increased
accountability and quicker results.
2. Local Infrastructure – The region is still facing acute crisis of drinking water, stable electricity,
roads and highways.
3. Roads – Roads are at the heart of any supply chain, and not having a concrete road
infrastructure would result in lesser investment from the industries, and even tougher for the
rural development

Phase 1
 Visioning:  
We know that getting businesses and
government to co-ordinate and work for one
purpose is not a cake walk but that is where
we come into picture .
The companies that work for waste
management should be recognised , the taxes
they pay are equal to any other business , there
are people trying to get this recognised by the
govt. , we can collaborate with these groups
and add our point of Carbon Taxing , which
indeed a revenue source for the government.
Phase 2
Infrastructure
Industries or Businesses look beyond profit
only when the are at least getting recognition
Infront of a potential consumer, but for this to
happen we need to bring the concrete and
digital infrastructure to villages of the north
east .
This is the stage where we take up the SCM
Revolution (Slide 2) , plans into action.
Businesses can pitch in at this stage as a part
of CSR which in turn will create a new set of
customers in an area where they will be the
first movers.
Phase 3
 Invest Back
The main motive of businesses is
profit and we need not change that
ideology , our long term goal is to
promote agri/ rural tourism given
the current infrastructure, that can
lead to growth of other local
activities and industries which will
attract the attention of bigger
businesses without changing the
current ecology .
This in turn can help with the
floodproofing and waste
management . As investing in these
will make these areas of the north
east , “the untapped market”.
