My visit to Frankfurt for the 2014 Auto

Show was great. This was the 65th edition
of the fair. It took place from September
25th to October 2nd in Hanover, Germany.

I arrived in Germany on Tuesday, 23rd of

September, two days before the start of the
event. I flew from New York to Frankurt. I
enjoyed the flight a lot.

I arrived at the exhibition center on

Wednesday, which was the first day of the
show. There were outdoor and indoor
exhibitions and lot of visitors.

I first visited the electric cars pavilion.

There were several exhibitions by different
car makers. I enjoyed them all.
The place was full of people because the
cars were really amazing.

A few days later, I attended a presentation

about the cars of the future. The exhibitors
showed a 3D clip about new technologies in
car manufacturing. These exhibition was
very interesting too. They even had a see-
through model car made in glass.

Before the end of the show, I had the

opportunity to do a drive test of a very
modern vehicle.

I traveled with a group of visitors to a nearby

circuit. We chose our favorite car and drove
along the circuit for several minutes. I felt
like a real race pilot!

Before leaving Germany, I had to try the

local food: sausages, of course! During the
last day of the show, I visited one of the local
restaurants. I ordered the Frankfurter
Würstchen which means “The little
Frankfurt saugage” It was absolutely
delicious! I also had a sauerkraut (cabbage
in vinegar) and a beer with it. These are the
usual sides that German people eat with
sausage.

My visit to the city of eternal spring

Medellin - Colombia, which began on
August 12 and ends on August 22 of this
year. It is a very beautiful and incredible
event since you can enjoy many attractive
events, silleteros parades, horseback
riding, vintage cars, goats and more.

The opening day of the flower fair was

very impressive, there were many people
enjoying this great event, the best of all is
that it was outdoors.

The first thing I did was to observe young

children and adults carrying flower saddles
with beautiful designs on their shoulders,
it was surprising to see so many people
marvel at this parade of silleteros.

The next day I was surprised to see so

many old vehicles parading through the
streets of the city, they were so impressed
to see tourists fascinated with the
different cultural parades. In addition, we
were able to see cars that I never thought I
saw and it goes without saying that
technology has advanced very fast.

We also had the privilege of seeing many

horses in which it was very fascinating to
see so many types, colors of horses, very
beautiful breeds and happy people from
such an event.

As the days passed before the fair ended, I

had the honor of getting on a goat and
walking around the city and seeing many
more events. It was incredible to feel the
joy of all the people present there.

We were also lucky to try the typical dish

of the Antioquia region of Los Paisas, a
group of friends together with me looked
for a restaurant where we enjoyed the
paisa tray with rice, chicharrón, avocado,
chorizo, ground meat, ripe slices and
more, it was so delicious. This is how you
eat in Medellín, land of the paisas.
Come and enjoy the flower fair.
