once every four years:

…Bulls…………. win the game


because they are stronger than cats.
But ……cats…. can’t win the game
because they are weaker than bulls.
Basketball

…Giraffe… wins the game


because it is taller than mouse.
But …mouse… can’t win the game because
it is shorter than the giraffe.
Running

…Lion… wins the game because


it is faster than the turtle.
But …turtle… can’t win the game because
it is slower than the lion.
Swimming

…Fish.. wins the game


because it is better than frog.
Comparatives

• We use «comparatives» to compare two different things.

Rabbits are faster than turtles.

Train is slower than plane.


Rule for Comparatives:
• Plane is faster than train.
• Turtle is slower than rabbit.
• Elephant is heavier than tiger.

• *If the Word has 1 syllable, we add «-er than» after the adjectives.
What about for these sentences?
