Problem solving with creativity and knowledge

I Was Given The Task Of Calculating Overall Ghg Emissions From Several Types Of Trucks.
These Vehicles Are Used To Transport Goods.
Pepsico Has Not Previously Saved The Data Points which will be needed to do This Calculation.
Only They Have Details On Monthly Demand, Number Of Trips, Shipment Distance, And Total Truck Capaci
ty Used To Complete Those Shipments.

I Could Suggest Them To Use New Obd Data, Which Would Cost The Company More Money, But I Chose T
o Stick With What I Had.
To Compute The Payload Of Each Truck, I Used Monthly Demand And Total Capacity Utilisation Data.
I Then Used Millage Data Provided By The Each Transporter.
Data Regarding Distance Was Available.

I calculated the GHG emissions on a monthly basis using simple multiplication and logic.

.Interesting fact:
In this case, I used machine learning algorithms such as KNN, Random Forest, and Sarima to predict
future .My prediction was much more accurate than the prediction provided by a PEPSICO vendor. The
matter of fact is I was able to solve this problem by using common sense and a machine learning
algorithm.
Problem solving with creativity and knowledge

I was a member of deviation investigation team in Fresenious kabi Onchology ltd. I was working under the
guidance of Lachman Consultancy. A drug failed 3 times and microbiologist observed an unknown fungus growth
in each time.
My supervisor gave a team with 6 interns.
I broke the assignment in 5 pieces:
1.Gathering the detail: Manufacturing unit, Storage detail, Type of microbes.
2.Distribute the same information to each member of team.
3.Brain storming
4. Used Fishbone analysis to chalk out and narrow down the possibility.
5.As we were working in a controlled area so that was also a challenge.
mAfter detail study of each manufacturing and store point we found a source of contamination which was a
filter cloth made by polypropelene.
I was an officer In quality control but after this achievement they permanently made me a young member in
innovation and development department.
Pepsico intern
• I interned at Pepsico under the supervision of the Amisha region's associate director.
• The main task was to optimise the logistic operation.
• Yes, I was a Logistic Optimizer there.
• I was assisting Pepsico in optimising fuel consumption, which allows them to meet a
target of 30 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, as well as generate
revenue by removing additional transportation costs.

I utilised machine learning model to construct a baseline that displays the future amount of emissi
on if no action is taken by the organisation today.
•  in a nutshell, I need to examine the effects of the steps that will be performed to reduce fuel
consumption off the vehicle. I've also designed a matrix that will allow The Other Employee to
quickly assess the impact. In this matrix, I included investment analysis , effort matrix ,impact
analysis, as well as many other calculations.
Introduction
• My name is Tuhin Ghoshal, and I'm from west Bengal. I am currently pursuing PGDM with a specialisation in operations and a minor in
marketing. Prior to joining this institution, I worked for Fresenius Kabi Oncology Limited for 19 months. I worked in quality control and also
in research and development as an officer, where I had to investigate and help my team with root cause analysis, and a corrective action
plan would have been prepared based on the analysis. I was a member of a team that helps the organisation in maintaining its goodwill
and superiority in the pharmaceutical market.
• Internship:
I have done summer internship in pepsico,as supply chain intern. Also I have worked in Emami as procurement strategy consultant.

• Photography:
To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting an ordinary place…I find it very stress release.

As u can in my cv I was in different domain but I managed here and so I am a gile person, having great problem solving and project
management skill.
Conclusion.
BOARD INFINITY INTERVIEW
• 1. I interned at Board Infinity as a client acquisition intern under the supervision of the Strategy Head.
• 2. The major responsibility assigned to me was to manage the entire client acquisition process, from
generating client leads to closing the deals to obtain new clients and retain the existing ones.
• 3. The leads have been mostly generated from job portals like LinkedIn, IIMjobs, Naukri.com etc.
Further on verified by contacting the respective recruiting partner and providing them with necessary
recruitment solution.
• 4. This project involved a team of 7 interns and we generated a revenue of 10 lakh rupees during my
tenure in the organization. Not only that, we managed to place 200 students of Board Infinity in the
bad times of the pandemic.
• 5. We were able to enter different business vertical while retaining long-term partnerships and client
retention by coordinating internal employee training season of corporates with our organization.
• 6.In a nutshell, I have managed/ facilitated the client acquisition process, enhanced the brand visibility
among recruitment partners as well as in the ed-tech sector and also build strategic partnership by
coordinating internal employee training season with corporates.
Conflict management
• I will always tackle the conflict straight away, if I leave conflict it will
be manifested and develop into a bigger problem.I will encourage the
team members to resolve the conflict among them selves if they don’t
then I interfere.
