INTRODUCTION ON SAFETY MEETINGS, INCENTIVES

• An incentive program provides rewards to reinforce desired behavior;

therefore, a safety incentive program is supposed to reinforce good
safety habits and practices positively
• A safety incentives program is only one facet of a comprehensive safety program.
• A safety recordkeeping program will help you set goals, measure progress, pinpoint
areas needing attention, and identify areas that were successful in preventing
work-related injuries and illnesses.

Preethi.R Assistant Professor

SAFETY MEETINGS

Preethi.R Assistant Professor

SAFETY MEETINGS

to the company and prepare them for their new role.
• It ensures workers are fully informed about the organization
and are aware of their work and responsibilities.
• It serves as a starting point for an organization to introduce a
culture of safety in the workplace.
• Job hazard assessments need to be thought of as a living

upgrades as new hazards and hazard control methods are
identified.
• Also update the assessment whenever there is a change to
the work process.
