This document discusses a departmental store management project. It outlines the agenda, strategy formulation, and day-to-day checklist for store operations. The project aims to maintain records of goods and customers, generate bills automatically including taxes and discounts, and provide security through usernames and passwords. It addresses problems like reducing human effort and costs compared to manual record keeping. The methodology uses a modular coding approach and the project is feasible, cost-effective and can be improved in the future by adding features like online database connectivity and barcode scanning.

Easiness in modification of data.
User friendly. Reports are easily generated. No or very few paperwork. Computer operator control. PROGRESS OF WORK Working on the topic given *considering the specifications to be included for the better functioning of the project Making of the synopsis *synopsis helps in creating the fundamental structure for the program consulting with the teacher concerned *sir has helped us a lot in finding and figuring out the various aspects for a good program. Coding and removing errors Improving spacing and colour combination with the help of previously obtained outputs. METHODOLOGY The entire method for the development of coding is based on a practical approach of verifying separately the outputs produced by the functions used in the program , in order to minimize the chances of generating errors in the main departmental store coding. The structure of entire coding promotes MODULARITY. PROBLEMS ADDRESSED Without the digital tech: *the managing of accounts , goods details , bill generation would have been very tedious to handle and increases risk of mistakes. Reduces human effort. Reduces cost of employing employees. Reduces time involved in solving certain tasks. Program is easy to understand ,hence can be operated by a non-programmer. Accounts are safe with password, and hence protected from unwanted issues. Data is portable with much less efforts. FEASIBILITY OF THE PROJECT Effective and Efficient code *the program should be faster and *produce correct output within the given memory space and limited time. User Friendly *the entire control of the code should be in control of the user. Self documenting code *proper name for variables to denote proper information. COST EFFECTIVENESS The program serves the purpose of cost effectiveness quite well in the following ways: a).Reduces cost of employing employees for maintaining records. b).Time is Money . This project saves time and hence saves money. c).This project is compatible with all sorts of systems and hence saves cost of purchasing expensive sets. FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS- Online connectivity of database for backup or to enlarge the scope. Bar code reader. While entering purchase invoice if goods are already expired it should give a warning. Warning alert notification. REFERENCES - The C++ Language by Bjarne Stroustrup. C++ by Dr. Sumita Arora. Jumping into C++ by Alex Allain.
