• In order for you to state the location of places in


your environment you must make sure that you
know the primary and secondary points of the
compass

There are other points between the primary and secondary points.
For example, between North and North-East .
we can locate North-North-East. All these points help us to find places in
our environment.
Boundaries

• A Boundary can be marked to separate One place


from another. Boundaries can be streets, Dams
rivers Creek canals lakes trees or Important
buildings near our homes schools or in our
community
• Land mark is something that is easy to recognize such as a
tall tree or building and helps you to know where you are
some important land Mark have historical Importance, for
example the
• Stabroek Market
• Catherdal
• Bridges
• Monuments
• Forts

• Landmark can be some important Buildings,


temple, big trees or any other Important structure
that have been for a number of years and will
remain there for years to come
