INTRODUCING THE PROJECT
The Battery Operated fork lift is an improved version of lifting and
carrying the load which needs to be transferred from one place to
another.
This advanced technology has brought a new revolution in the
mechanical industries and most commonly used in heavy
Engineering companies.
These forklift vehicles had revolutionized ware-housing practices
used in the middle of the 20th century. These well maintained and
safely operated forklift has made lifting and transporting cargo
items very easily.
LITERATURE REVIEVE
OBJECTIVE

Cost Reduction
One of the main objectives of material handling is the
reduction of production cost Material handling can constitute as much
as 50 percent of total product cost.
Increasing Warehouse Capacity
When materials are not stored correctly in a warehouse,
much of the facility is being wasted. This wastage adds to the cost of
the product.
Increasing Safety
Safety in any organization is a primary concern and an
efficient material handling system can make a direct contribution
to the safety of workers, materials and associated equipment.
Improving Layout To Reduce Waste
Material Handling relates to the loading, unloading and
movement of all types of materials. Today, we have numerous
ways by which material handling is done and it is generally
classified according to the type of equipment used.
PROBLEM
When we talk about normal forklift, fork lift the load with respect
to the direction of forklift. Because of that when handling the
material in warehouse having more materials and traveling space is
of forklift is less than it is not possible to transfer the material from
warehouse to another place.
It becomes hazardous for the forklift driver to take the loaded
pallet it may cause the entire warehouse to get seriously damage
and also to the people working over there.
Owners has to suffer a devastating loss which is not helpful from
the point of view of productivity.
GENERAL PROCEDURE
The general steps to be followed in designing the machine are as
followed:
Preparation of a statement of the problem indicating the purpose of
the machine.
Selection of groups of mechanism for the desire motion.
Calculation of the force and energy on each machine member.
Selection of material.
Determining the size of component drawing and manufacture.
Preparation of component drawing and manufacturing
Manufacturing and assembling the machine.
Testing of the machine for functioning.
