Auxiliary Verbs "Can/Could" and
"May/Might/Must"
• An auxiliary verb helps the main (full) verb and is also called a "helping
verb." With auxiliary verbs, you can write sentences in different tenses,
moods, or voices. Auxiliary verbs are: be, do, have, will, shall, would,
should, can, could, may, might, must, ought, etc.
• 助動詞は主(完全)動詞を助け、「助動詞」とも呼ばれます。 助
動詞を使用すると、さまざまな時制、気分、または声で文を書く
ことができます。 助動詞は次のとおりで
す。 be 、 do 、 have 、 will 、 shall 、 would 、 should 、 can 、 coul
d 、 may 、 might 、 must 、 ought など。
