Overview of Your Innovation

❖ The main goal of our school: Providing conditions for the sustainable development of the educational
organization in accordance with the strategy for the development of Russian education and achieving a
new quality of educationю
❖ To reach the goal we have some tasks:
❖ Updating the school management system in accordance with the trends in the development of
management science
❖ Improving the effectiveness of the educational process and introducing a multidimensional system for
assessing the quality of education
❖ Development of various models of individualized education of talented students based on individual
curricula and distance learning forms, participation in the Olympiad movement, use of educational
opportunities of partner organizations of the school;
❖ the most recent innovation: mass distance education in the context of a pandemic, we had not have sich
experience before. It is rather acutial today to avoid the spreading of pandemic and keeping students
healthy. To rebuild the system of education we made working groups of teachers who were the most
competent in information technologies. Their task was to create a distance model of education at
school with the usage of special platforms. Working groups are common for oue school: Two heads are
better than one. My role is leading the process. As the result of the cooperative work we created the
programm of distance education at school

Discipline → Individual → Intuiting

❖ To explain the innovation to the individual we had meetings with our students and their parents. We
explained them the goals and rules of education on that stage. We agreed how we would work, how
students would give their assignments to teachers for checking. . Made a list of students who didn’t
have any gadgets to have a distance study and provide them with some ones. Made a list of emails to
be in touch with families, discussed possible problems. Prepared video instructions and the
algorithms for students and their parents.
❖ We did the same for teachers. Teachers who are not very good in information technologies were
provided with a coach from the colleges.
❖ The most competent teachers gave trainings to colleges, made algorithms how to prepare a distance
lesson in google class. It was comfortable to work in groups according to our abilities Our principle is:
If you can do, teach somebody too.
❖ The main idea was not only to understand what had been waiting from you but to accept it
❖ Such team working provides an individual development of every person, task skills and trust
❖ The problem can be when a teacher is afraid to say that he \she doesn’t know or can’t do anything,
because all teachers are sure that they MUST know and can do everything. We have to remember
that a teacher is a person who learns first and then teaches !

Influence → Groups → Interpreting

convince, prove and motivate are my forms of power. And a search of

supporters. It will not be difficult really if you believe in what you do.

Of course there are people in your team who are not ready to accept your ideas.
So we have the rules of working in a team. For example: not criticise but
suggest. Or do not afraid to admit your mistakes.

Before starting a team work it is good if you will discuss \remember all these
rules.

If a person does not agree, offer him \her to suggest another variant and prove it
The most ineffective strategie is using your administrative resource, for example
“I am the leader \I am your boss and I know how and what to do” It is the fail!

Force → Groups/Individuals → Integrating

When I share understanding with my colleges I:

❖ explain WHY we should do it first of all (in other words I describe a problem)
and ask “how can we solve the problem?”
❖ after the brainstorming we choose the most interesting and effective ways and
discuss them
❖ the next step is to divide a team into mini-groups. Each of them translates new
ideas consistently, presenting not only positive sides but possible negative
ones and risks.
❖ so step by step we reach the right ways of solving a problem

Domination → Organization → Institutionalizing

❖ when all programs, rules and procedures at school were

embedded we have the most difficult task: to ensure
that all it works. It’s the stage of control
I am for the personalized control. It is good to divide
teachers into small groups: high skilled teachers can have
self control or mutual control. It is successful.
control criteria and indicators are developed in advance and
all teachers should be introduced with them
